A mass communications professional with backgrounds in international relations and political science, Victor A. Hogstrom has left his positive imprints of success over each public media company he has managed. In his role as president and CEO of five public media broadcast properties prior to coming to KPTS-TV, Channel 8, he brought significant success to all of them. He has been called, “an excellent manager, a turn-around CEO, a community-minded and involved leader, an excellent fundraiser, and a pleasant on air personality”.  These are among the skills he brings to any organization through his leadership.  Hogstrom has worked in both commercial and public media.

Victor Hogstrom has enjoyed teaching mass communications courses at the collegiate level. He is a former broadcast journalist and news director; earned two BA degrees in mass communications and international relations and a master’s in mass communications with minor in political science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
