Jacob Wayman is a Multi-Unit Franchisee of Orangetheory Fitness, a boutique fitness brand that combines science and technology to produce the best heart-rate based workout in the nation.
Prior to purchasing Orangetheory in January 2020, Jake was a recovering healthcare professional who served in a variety of consulting roles with startup companies helping them raise capital, critique business plans and accelerating their growth. Jake also help found Startup Grind Wichita, 1 Million Cups Wichita, LaunchPrep & e2e (now called Nxtus) which all are centered around helping the Wichita entrepreneurial ecosystem thrive.
Outside of the business world, Jacob is an active community leader serving on the boards of the Rotary Club of Wichita, Salvation Army, Leadership Wichita and proudly serves as the Honorary Commander for the 344th Air Refueling Squadron at McConnell Air Force Base.
Jacob is married to Regan Wayman, the father to Jaxx Wayman and the bonus dad to Ren Palmer. He holds a Bachelors in Science from Wichita State University, a Masters in Healthcare Administration from KU and a Masters in Business Administration from Newman University.
